My aunt called at 5:30 in the morning. She was crying at that time. My aunt said to me “ Your mother called me at around 3 o’clock am. I was surprised. Your mom sounds strange. Your mom doesn’t understand me. I am worried about her.” I said to my aunt “ Thank you very much. I understand. I’ll check my mother’s condition.” My mother will be 85 years old next month. I went to my mother’s home immediately.
I spoke to my mother about what happened. I spoke to my mother about my aunt's concern. And then my mother said , " I never called my sister especially last night . I am not lying". And she got angry. I checked my mother’s phone history. My aunt's name was not registered in the phone history. I'm sure my mom DIDN'T call her. I am relieved to know that my mom doesn't have dementia. She has a memory like that of an elephant.（記憶力がいいという意味にelephantを使う所が面白い） I understand my aunt mistaken my mom as the caller. The phone doesn't show the caller's face so there is misunderstanding sometimes.
My husband had a bloody discharge last Thursday. He was in a flutter. He went into retirement last spring and has been drinking alcohol ever since. I thought he is dependent on alcohol. I gave him a warning before but he wouldn’t listen to me.
I brought him to the hospital. He underwent endoscopic procedure. The doctor found a big polyp inside his intestine. He cut off the polyp and stanch the artery by a clip.
Even if he is becoming sick he will never stop alcohol. I hope his sickness will be a good lesson for him. The bloody discharge is signal from his body.
A month passed since the great disaster in Tohoku. twin or triple disaster... It was an unheard-of disaster. It was an earthquake as well as Tsunami and nuclear disaster. And there are aftershocks almost every day. There aftershocks are very strong. I’m worried about it and I thought “ What happened in Japan? I have misgivings about the future.
Tokyo’s governor Ishihara said “ This disaster is judgment.” Japanese people frowned on his word. But it maybe true. People in Tohoku are patient and good. So God chose them. Before Japan is peaceful and had no problem. But there was big disaster. Japanese people were very shocked because of the disaster and are now united. “ I believe in Japanese power “ This is a message in a TV and I like it. The land of the rising sun.
