Today is the total eclipse of the sun in Japan. But in my region, it is only partial eclipse. The last total eclipse of the sun was 46 years ago. Regrettably, the weather was cloudy. Among others, Kagoshima prefecture in Akuseki Island was able to see it for 6 minutes and 25 seconds. The island has been visited by many tourists to see the eclipse of the sun. The number of tourists was 5 times than the island’s population. Akuseki Island’s population is only 68 people. At that time, the weather was very bad. I felt sorry for the spectators of the solar eclipse. I saw the sun started waning before 10 a.m. The total eclipse of the sun will be 26years after. Maybe, I won’t be around that time.
I went out in the heavy rain this morning. Today was kimono lesson day. But I learned how to make a necklace for summer. I made a necklace out of knitted-silk and inserted marble stones at the center. But, I am naturally all thumbs. It was simple. I made one necklace in 2 hours. I’m glad and it was fun. Friends look clever making those necklaces with their fingers.
